Gaming under the Corona(virus)

As with many social groups, our gaming group is dealin with self-isolation during this outbreak. All of our members are in one risk group or another, due to health, age, or a family member in such category 00 many of us fall under several of the high risk categories.

Failed the saving throw! And so, we are looking at alternate methods of continue to game, in lieu of inerson gaming. Tonight’s experiment will be the Zoom platform, which one member uses in their professional life, so we have at least one who is moderately familiar with it’s controls and capabilities.

A couple of us already have accounts at Roll20, but it has a steeper learning curve that our old and molding brains may be able to adapt to, especially as our current campaign is set using DragonQuest rules, a long out of print game.

Other alternatives, such as Skype, also exist, and we’ll see what works best with us. What are your options?
